While we do our best to educate our patients on chronic kidney disease (CKD) during our office visits, we have found that many patients benefit from classes offered by our experienced physicians in a friendly, interactive environment.
Medicare – Medicare covers 80 percent.
Private Insurance – Most insurance companies do not cover kidney disease education (KDE). Please call your insurance company to ask if your specific plan includes KDE. If your medical insurance plan does not cover KDE, we will work with you to provide the education at a reasonable rate, and if you need to make payment arrangements, we can set you up on a payment plan.
